Ashley, North Dakota custom combiner Shawn Gallagher in harvesting wheat in the Nebraska panhandle. “It has been the best week we’ve cut on the run so far,” says Gallagher. “We’ve been all running 35 to 60 as bushels to the acre. Test weights have been good, about 59 and a half to 64 on some fields and protein hasn’t been very good, but everybody’s been happy with the bushels.” Gallagher says it been a tough harvest run. Harvest Hotline is sponsored, in part, by the North Dakota Mill.
