Brock and Associates President Richard Brock says trade wars aren’t good for the U.S., but he’s not yet concerned about the tariff’s impact on prices. “Obviously, if they need our product they’re going to pay the tariffs. I think there are a lot of good things happening here long-term. That’s not going to solve what we think is a real tough situation with corn and bean prices between now and harvest what appears to be record crops coming on in both.” In Brock’s view, the primary force in the markets right now is weather.
