Global Commodity Analytics and Consulting President Mike Zuzolo says Brazil’s ability to supply soybeans to China is being questioned. “The Brazilians, because they are having freight issues and don’t have an agreement with those freight companies yet, they may be susceptible to not being able to ship out more than six million tons of beans and meal. I think this is one of the things the undercurrent that came in and help prop up the beans.” Zuzolo says the trade saga will continue until the July 6 deadline to implement tariffs.
