Rain continues to delay some field spraying. Hallock, Minnesota farmer Nathan Sugden says the wheat is sprayed, but the soybeans need some work. Once Sugden has fieldwork done in Minnesota, he’ll travel south to help his family’s custom-combining business, Sugden Harvesting. The harvesters are in Kansas now. “They were in the very south part of Kansas, right on the border of Oklahoma. They were kind of hoping that it was 20 bushels of wheat. They’ve moved currently over to western Kansas where there’s a pretty good group of people it sounds like. I’m not sure if they’re going to get started this week or not.”
