With the combination of Dow and DuPont, changes are being seen in the seed industry. Corteva Agriscience, which is the agriculture division for DowDuPont, has announced Pioneer will remain the flagship seed brand for the company. The U.S. retail channel, which includes local co-ops and national distribution networks, will be marketing the Mycogen and Terral brands. Five region corn and soybean brands will continue, including Dairyland Seed and NuTech. Those regional brands will serve different parts of the country with Dairyland Seed in the northern Cornbelt and NuTech in the central Cornbelt. Five other brands, which include Prairie Brand and Curry, will be folded into the remaining regional seed brands.
