House Ag Committee to Host Hearing on Beef Packing Industry
House Agriculture Committee Chairman David Scott announced a full committee hearing to determine whether anti-competitive behavior by the largest meatpacking companies caused increased beef prices and unfair difficulties to ranchers. The hearing is set to take place on April 27th.
