Dan Coffman is Minnesota’s soil health specialist for the Conservation Technology Information Center. In the debut of Talking Conservation, Coffman highlights the Farmers for Soil Health program and how growers can get enrolled. A unique cover crop coaches program is also part of the discussion. Coffman is a self-described ‘soil warrior’ and provides user-friendly information for the farmer. Talking Conservation is a collaboration of the Conservation Technology Information Center, the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association and the Red River Farm Network.
