Farm women in central North Dakota have an upcoming opportunity to take part in Annie’s Project. The six-week course is designed for women who want to learn more about the business side of farming and ranching. Alicia Harstad, an NDSU Extension Agent in Stutsman County, says participants will learn from experts in production, financial management, human resources, marketing and the legal field. “We’re going to be talking about marketing, which is always a popular topic. Also, we’ll discuss farm stress management and take a personality assessment, which helps explain different communication styles.” Registration for Kidder County is due February 6 and for Stutsman County on February 8. More information is available by contacting either county Extension office.
