In this Suicide Prevention Month. Minnesota Agricultural Mental Health Specialist Monica McConkey says anyone struggling with feelings of hopelessness should hold on and reach out for support. “Let’s say they’re isolating more, maybe they are making statements that this is never going to get better,” said McConkey. “These can be suicide warning signs. The best thing to do if you are concerned about somebody, if you’re thinking they might be thinking about suicide, is ask them.”
