National FFA officer Jael Cruikshank participated in the North Dakota FFA Convention, the sixth of nine state conventions on her schedule this year. In addition, Cruikshank is part of the FFA’s new strategic plan. “We’re really looking at data-driven decisions so we can make decisions based on that, but also really staying true to our roots of agriculture,” Cruikshank told RRFN. “Just fun decisions like that where the national officers get to have a say on the board of directors and knowing that we’re here to represent the students.” Cruikshank is the Western Regional Vice President. She’s an Oregon native and will be attending Oklahoma State once her year in national office comes to an end.
