Potato fields across North Dakota and Minnesota are showing excellent potential. Northland Potato Growers Association Executive Director Gary Shields says growing conditions have been favorable with no major issues reported so far. “You get up to the Canadian border, they could use just a little bit more rain,” Shields said. “Although the last few days we’ve had some, so they may be getting caught up. We don’t have anybody that’s in a drought situation.”
