Farmers across the region have apparently cleaned out some of their bins in preparation for this year’s harvest. In North Dakota, the amount of corn stored on-farm is down 56 percent from one year ago. On-farm soybean stocks in North Dakota are up over 60 percent. For Minnesota, on-farm corn storage is down 26 percent from this time last year. The amount of soybeans stored on the farm in Minnesota is up 15 percent. On-farm corn stocks are down 14 percent and on-farm soybean stocks are up 17 percent in South Dakota.
