The Environmental Protection Agency wants to take another look at last year’s interim decision to re-register glyphosate. The agency is asking the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the opportunity to reconsider its evaluation of the environmental risks of the weedkiller. If that request is granted, glyphosate would remain on the market while the EPA works on its analysis. This action is related to a lawsuit filed by a coalition of environment and farmworker organizations seeking to vacate the registration of glyphosate altogether.
