Bismarck, North Dakota farmer Clark Coleman says the sunflower crop is decent. The growing conditions are completely different from last year. “We kind of had a no-tiller’s dream seeding season, because the top inch was bone dry. Below that, we had nice moisture so we were able to really go and do a really nice job. We started catching some small late rains and now we have been catching a little bit of rain every week.”
