Diversified Services market analyst Sterling Smith says the March Supply and Demand report was a big nothing sandwich. “U.S. corn and soybean ending stocks were unchanged. The next biggest numbers were potential changes in global corn and soybean production out of South America. Again, they didn’t change anything. It wasn’t quite the December report, but there wasn’t much to move the markets.” The livestock market showed a slight reaction to the unchanged WASDE report, with cattle slightly higher.
