BASF has been showing their appreciation to farmers and supporting the local community. “We haven’t been doing much in the last few weeks with the virus and staying at home in quarantine so we lined up take-out meals for farmers to pick up and take home,” said Bill Olson, BASF business representative. “Basically it is a chance to say thank you to growers and support our small towns.” BASF worked with ag retailers in communities across the region including Ada, Bejou, Crookston, Larimore, St. Hilaire and Warren. Business rep Ryan Casavan has had positive feedback about this effort. “Everybody has been struggling with this COVID issue and I thought this would be the best way to support our farmers and our local cafes.”
