Farmers in north-central North Dakota have made good planting progress. However, Dakota Agronomy Partners sales agronomist Jenna Whalen is seeing a shift in the acreage near Mohall, North Dakota. “There are some farmers who have stuck to what’s they’ve always done. Last year and this year, chickpeas are a big deal. There’s been more wheat than I thought. We’re moving some bean acres around.”
