CHS New Horizons grain procurement manager Tom Bovee says planting is coming along nicely in western Minnesota. “In the southern half of the territory, we’re probably 60 percent done with the corn and doing some of the beans. All of the wheat and most of the beets are in. Land near Highway 28 is the wettest. The rest of planting is slowly wrapping up.” The Herman area received some rain Tuesday, but the area missed out on Thursday’s moisture.
