Columbia Grain is facing penalties from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for “willfully exposing workers to grain handling hazards.” An employee was killed while cleaning a bin in July at the Columbia Grain site in Arvilla, North Dakota. OSHA has proposed a $190,000 penalty for Columbia Grain for safety violations.
