A Chinese trade delegation is now tentatively scheduled to arrive in the United States on January 13. Vice Premier Liu He was originally scheduled to be in the U.S. during the first week of January, but that timeline changed when President Trump sent out a tweet saying the phase one trade agreement would be signed January 15. With the phase one trade deal, the U.S. will lower some tariffs on Chinese products and China will increase its purchases of U.S. farm commodities.
