North Dakota Farm Bureau delegates reelected Daryl Lies of Douglas as president and Dana Kaldor of Hillsboro as vice president. Lies says there was a common theme heard during policy development; “private property rights, private property rights, private property rights.” NDFB delegates voted to repeal the 1980s-era swampbuster rule. Lies said the federal government has not done what it was instructed to do with this rule “so let’s just get rid of it.”
