Market analysts were closely watching the market close following Thursday’s USDA reports for a peek at the longer-term market sentiment. Now, all eyes are on the corn market. Van Ahn and Company market analyst Kristi Van Ahn contemplates if the corn markets can get back about the $4.54 level on December corn. “The market will be watching to see if we can get above that. If not, we’ll probably be stuck chopping around in the $4.20 to $4.50 level. It could be frustrating.” Van Ahn says it’s important to watch what’s happening besides what’s going on with USDA. “A big run in the market typically starts on the cash side and that’s starting to happen.”
