Harvest is nearing completion in southeastern North Dakota. Wyndmere-area farmer Carson Klosterman said soybean and sunflower harvest wrapped up several weeks ago, with most of the remaining activity focused on corn. “If folks aren’t done, they can see the end.” Klosterman described the growing season as highly variable, with rainfall producing significant differences from one field to another. “We’ve combined plenty of poor crops as you go south,” Klosterman said. “Then as you move your way north, there were some rain showers that hit those fields, and those were fun to combine.”
