The Energy Department has released draft language addressing the 45Z fuel production tax credit. To claim this tax credit, fuel producers must have the life-cycle greenhouse gas emission rate for the fuel. The process from DOE outlines the process to secure that information for different feedstocks. It now goes to the Federal Register.
