Hands-on learning is one of the biggest benefits of 4-H. “One of the slogans that I like to use is that 4-H is more than just cows and cookies, we have something for everybody,” reports Becca Tuller, who is with the Brown County 4-H program in Aberdeen. Local 4-H members recognized 4-H Week with community service projects and developing life skills. “We’ve partnered with National 4-H and Les Schwab on a learning experience where we got a tour of their facility as well as a hands-on opportunity for them to learn how to change a tire.”
