The soybean harvest is moving again in south central North Dakota after recent rain delays. Kulm-area farmer Bart Schott said soybean moisture has dropped into the 12.5 to 13 percent range and yields have been better than expected.“We thought we were dry, but we were getting a few little rains and kind of kept it going,” Schott said. A key 1.2-inch rain helped fill pods at the top of the plants. “Yield is pretty fair out here in this neck of the woods.” Schott expects corn yields to be below last year but still good.
