A North Dakota cattle broker has pleaded guilty in the Agridime cattle fraud case. Taylor Bang of Killdeer pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. A federal judge previously determined Agridime operated as a Ponzi scheme. Court records allege the company owed investors $220 million, including $40 million to North Dakota investors. The North Dakota Department of Agriculture revoked Bang’s livestock dealer license and ordered Taylor Bang Cattle Sales to stop livestock-related sales. Bang faces up to five years in prison. Sentencing will take place January 7.
