North Dakota Farmers Union President Matt Perdue wants to see action on the farm bill. “We have to find common ground and get this thing done. this is the fourth year in a row that Congress has failed to get a farm bill done before September 30th and things have only gotten worse in those four years.” Perdue wants to see a focus on policy. “We’re just hoping to get through the midterms and people can get the politics behind them and we can start focusing on some of the policy that’s ahead.”
