After being sidelined with mud and muck, a mostly dry stretch of weather should give harvest a chance to pick up across the region this week. The National Weather Service says sunshine and warmer weather will dominate the forecast. Gusty south winds will also develop, with gusts around 20 to 30 miles per hour in portions of the region. Dry conditions are expected through much of the work week. Rain chances may return next weekend, but confidence in timing and amounts remains low. RRFN is on the road this week with today’s Grand Farm Phase II groundbreaking, an agriculture roundtable event with Senators John Hoeven and John Boozman, the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association All-Breeds Cattle Tour, the UAS Summit and Expo and the Minnesota Broadcasters Association Annual Meeting.
