USDA is investing $30 million to help North Dakota farmers address soil salinity in the Prairie Pothole Region. The Natural Resources Conservation Service says the new PRAIRIE effort will cover 39 counties and support practices including vegetative buffers, grassed waterways, annual forages and salinity management.
