Cattle supplies backed up this past week with federal immigration officials targeting meatpacking plants and other ag facilities in Kansas. Cattle slaughter totaled 484,000 head this past week, down more than 13 percent from the same week last year. ICE agents patrolled areas around Dodge City, Liberal and Garden City, Kansas, concentrating on meatpacking plants and a large dairy farm.
