Near Crookston, Gary Wagner has finished pre-pile sugarbeet harvest. The yields during early pre-pile were in the low teens, with Wagner estimating the crop may now be in the 18-to-20-ton range. “Not a bright point, it’s a it’s an insurance year at this point.” Soybeans following last year’s sugarbeet crop have been in the low 20-bushel range, while soybeans following soybeans have reached the upper 20s. “Nothing to be excited about, but we need to get the job done and we’ll go from there.”
