USDA has released the final Market Year Average prices for the 2025-2026 marketing year. Corn, soybeans and wheat all qualify for a PLC payment. The payment rate is 27 cents for corn; 21 cents for soybeans and $1.29 for wheat. Farmers would receive their Farm Service Agency payment times 85 percent of their base acres for each crop. With last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill, farmers will receive the higher of a PLC or ARC payment. Those payments will be made in late October or early November.
