In far northwest Minnesota, Hugh Hunt believes the heat and dry conditions cut into his canola yields. “Yields were probably a little below average,” said the Hallock farmer. “It was disappointing from what we’ve had the past few years, but we got it off.” Hunt said the top pods in his soybean crop were lost due to dryness, but remains hopeful about the crop’s potential.
