With crude oil prices above $100 per barrel, President Donald Trump was asked about rising fuel costs and their impact on Americans. “Right after the election, oil prices are going to be tumbling downward,” Trump said. “I think for gasoline, we’ll get them below two dollars a gallon. But not until after the midterm. I think it’s going to take a little bit longer than the midterm.”
