USDA is forecasting corn production at 15.8 billion bushels with an average yield of 178.5 bushels per acre. That’s down more than two bushels per acre from the August report. Soybean production increased to 4.5 billion bushels with the average yield rising one-tenth of a bushel at 52.8 bushels per acre. The corn ending stocks are being called bullish; neutral to slightly bullish for soybeans and neutral for wheat.
