Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Marilyn McAlpine. McAlpine, 88, began her career as a 4-H Extension agent before taking a position with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Marketing Division. She later served as a spokesperson and home economist for the Minnesota Turkey Research and Promotion Council where she was known as the ‘Turkey Lady.’
