He showed up for his family and friends. He showed up for agriculture. He showed up for the farm broadcasting community. And, he showed up for the people who depended on the Red River Farm Network. John, one of three co-founders of RRFN, passed away Thursday morning. The foundation John helped establish remains at the heart of what we do every day. The best way to describe John is with his own words: ‘The world is run by those who show up.’ John showed up. The Red River Farm Network would not be here without the foundation John helped build. His fingerprints are on this organization, not only in its history, but in its values. John Vasichek showed up. He believed in this business. He believed in agriculture. And he believed in the people we serve. We are grateful for his friendship, his leadership, his mentorship and his vision. And we will keep showing up. That is a legacy that John would have wanted.
