Brazilian beef shipments arriving in Houston are drawing attention following President Trump’s announcement of temporary tariff relief for imported ground beef. Washington analyst Jim Wiesemeyer says public shipping records show Brazilian frozen boneless beef arrived in Houston shortly before and on the day of Trump’s August 21 announcement. Some of the beef was connected to JBS. However, there is no evidence those shipments were directly tied to the new tariff plan.
