The Red RIver Farm Network hosts its own crop tour to gain perspective on crop conditions across the Northern Plains. The RRFN Crop Tour, presented by Pioneer, will be held next week. Reports will be available on-air, online, and on RRFN’s social media platforms. On Monday, August 31, the tour will survey the crops in western North Dakota. The tour will be across northern North Dakota on Tuesday; northwest Minnesota on Wednesday and eastern North Dakota on Thursday. RRFN will wrap up its tour with a stop at the Pioneer Century of Innovation Plot near Amendia, North Dakota. With the extreme heat during pollination, what will it mean for corn yields? Have the soybeans caught enough rain to finish well? We’ll answer those questions, plus, provide yield estimates.
