In the latest Pioneer Agronomy Update, Strategic Account Manager Cole Ehrlin says the Jamestown area picked up 120 GDUs in the past week with the recent hot, dry weather. Fargo added another 140 GDUs during that same time. “Crop conditions in the Jamestown/Spiritwood area look really good as they were able to pick up some much needed rain in July that the eastern part of the state missed.” The corn is ahead of the normal pace for growing degree units.
