Ukraine’s farmers are running out of places to put their grain as Russian attacks sharply reduce exports through Black Sea ports. Ukraine normally sends about 90 percent of its wheat, corn and sunflower exports through the Black Sea. Grain exports fell 75 percent from a year earlier during the first two weeks of August. The timing is especially difficult. Wheat harvest is at its peak, and the corn harvest begins next month.
