U.S. and Canadian officials continue trade negotiations ahead of an August 19 tariff deadline. Canadian officials met again with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. It was the third meeting between U.S. and Canadian trade officials in three weeks. Canada is a major market for U.S. agriculture and additional tariffs could disrupt established trade flows, raise costs and affect demand for U.S. agricultural products.
