Agriculture, energy, and technology will take center stage at the Next 5 Years Conference on September 10th in Fargo. The executive conference will examine the major forces expected to shape agriculture over the next five years. Minnkota Power Cooperative President and CEO Mac McClennan is on the program. “I think there are opportunities across the State of North Dakota to enhance how we use energy.” Ag processing, including the development of fertilizer production facilities or new ethanol plants, was given as an example. McClenna sees new technologies, including data centers and artificial intelligence, as part of that economic opportunity story.
