The soybean aphid population increased slightly across North Dakota and west-central Minnesota in the past week. According to the NDSU Crop and Pest Report, 27 percent of the fields scouted were positive for soybean aphids. That’s up from 20 percent last week. These populations are below the economic treatment threshold in all areas. However, the more moderate temperatures now will favor soybean aphid reproduction.
