Army veteran and longtime business executive Kendall Qualls believes Minnesota has become an anti-business state and radical change is needed. The Republican candidate said he, as an outsider, can get the job done. “The question next is this: can we get someone elected when we haven’t gotten it done in 20 years?” The last Republican to serve as governor was Tim Pawlenty from 2003 to 2011. “I can help get us elected, because the metro has always been the Achilles heel for us as Republicans. I can help get us elected without compromising our conservative values.” Voters will go to the polls Tuesday to determine which Republican will be on the November ballot.
