Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, who is the Democratic candidate for governor, said she is running on a pro-growth agenda. “That means new domestic markets for your crops. That means new international markets so we can get more trade deals, but I also think we need to cut through the red tape.” The regulatory reform includes permitting reform. “That means when you apply for a permit, we have a deadline. If the state doesn’t make a decision by then, you get your money back.” Klobuchar told the Farmfest crowd she loves her job as a U.S. senator, but loves Minnesota even more.
