Crop development continues to run ahead of normal across the Northern Plains despite mixed crop conditions. North Dakota corn is 83% silked with 11% reaching the dough stage, while soybeans are 92% blooming and 59% setting pods. South Dakota crops also made solid progress, with corn 95% silked, soybeans 91% blooming, and spring wheat harvest reaching 39% complete. In Minnesota, corn is 93% silked, soybeans are 75% setting pods, nearly three weeks ahead of last year, and spring wheat harvest has begun at 4% complete.
