Biological nitrogen technology was featured during the Grand Farm Field Day near Casselton, North Dakota. Pivot Bio Chief Technology Officer Travis Frey said the company’s enhanced microbes fix nitrates on a continual basis. “That gives us the ability to deliver a fourth source of nitrogen onto the crop that stays on the root, doesn’t wash away and spoon-feeds it over the early growth stages that are most critical for setting that early vigor and yield potential.” Pivot Bio also launched its “Year of One Million Thanks” campaign, recognizing farmers and investing in rural communities. At the Grand Farm event, Pivot Bio made donations to the North Dakota and Minnesota FFA organizations.
