Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association President Jake Thompson realizes the border reopening was inevitable but still questions the timing of the announcement. “Especially after a semi-positive cattle-on-feed report; it will also be interesting to see how many cattle actually come across the border with Mexico over the last year, investing quite a bit in infrastructure within their country for feeding and processing cattle.”
